This piece is inspired by a trip to Portugal with a friend and the song Bachelorette by Björk. In the song, Björk references a fountain:' I'm a fountain of blood, in the shape of a girl.' Various forms of water symbolise emotions and the experience of waiting for love. This work also reflects the intimacy of friendship, the moments of vulnerability when we share our missteps and are met with understanding, without judgment.
